S/Y SirenThe S/Y Siren came to the computer meeting with a problem: install a first-rate computer network to match the quality of this very unique large sailboat. This new Pinisi schooner was custom built in Indonesia for a group headed by Frank van den Linde, who had already been operating the S/V Sampra Jumpa as a sailing diveboat based in Phuket. The new Siren is a 34 meter teak and ironwood two-master with a huge Mitsubishi engine. Not your ordinary diveboat, she was designed for adventure sail-and-dive expeditions to the Andamans, Burma Banks and Indonesia (www.worldwidediveandsail.com) . Eight en-suite cabins, an expansive salon, great food and broad deck spaces would ensure luxurious comfort when not diving.
